After doing several wedding and birthday cakes, word spread quickly around the community and her orders skyrocketed. When she received a call to create a cake for a well-known sports icon, she realized that her "hobby" had outgrown her tiny kitchen.
Patricia has a love for anything sweet, especially if it has icing on it. When her son was born, she was saddened to learn he had food allergies. She did not want him to miss out on the "sweet" side of life. She threw herself into books and absorbed all she could on this new allergy-free way of life that she was not accustomed to. Not only did it open her and her husband's eyes to the lack of attention they were paying to the foods they ate, it also spawned a desire to provide alternative options for others with food allergies.
With their combined knowledge and passion for baking, Teresa and Patricia felt they had something special to offer. But where? Both are accustomed to small towns and agreed that Senoia was the perfect place to set up shop.
